Graveyards.

Platinum Partners — Kampala processing facility
Our Process
From street-level collection to pellet production, every step is built for maximum recovery and minimum waste.

Collection & Sorting
Our network of 5,500+ trained community waste collectors gather post-consumer plastics — HDPE, LDPE, PET, PP, PVC — from households, markets, businesses, and public spaces across Kampala and surrounding areas.

Cleaning & Processing
Collected plastics are transported to our Sonde Cell facility where they are washed, dried, and shredded to remove contaminants, organic matter, and impurities — ensuring only high-quality material enters the production line.

Pellet Production
Processed material is extruded and pelletised into uniform, high-grade recycled plastic pellets. These pellets serve as raw material for manufacturers, reducing dependency on virgin plastic and lowering carbon emissions.

Better Materials
Our finished plastic pellets are sold to manufacturers across Uganda and the region, creating a true closed-loop circular economy — where yesterday's waste bottle becomes tomorrow's packaging, furniture, or construction material.

Why Our Model Works
Traditional waste management focuses on disposal. We focus on recovery. By embedding ourselves within the community supply chain, we create a system where plastic collection is economically incentivised, logistically efficient, and environmentally accountable.
“Giving communities both purpose and income in the plastic recovery chain.”
